Reserve Grand Champion

SHF Lynton actually placed Reserve Junior champion Buck as well as Reserve Grand champion Buck. This means he was first runner up in both the Junior Buck class as well as overall all bucks. RGC Ajax placed best in classes: bucklings and wether first fleece. RGC Ace placed third in the same class.

Lynton is our star buck in the Canadian cashmere fleece competition at Olds college AB. He placed best in class. That is, compared to the rest of the 2-year old bucks, his fleece was the best. This spring he sired 8 males and 7 females. please contact us for the pick of the crop

What we are up to this month

Currently we are in the middle of harvesting cashmere. So far it is looking like a good harvest. Cashmere should be ready for sale later on in the spring. Check back for more info. Kidding will be happening February through May 2011 and kids will be available for starter herd, sweater herds/pet or meat starting in June. Reserve yours early for best selection. If you would like to purchase kids, we can be reached at Redeemers Garden for more info as to availability, prices and procedure.

Raw cashmere should be available later this spring for $20.00/oz. 

Plans for our veggie garden will begin this month. If you have special requests for something to be grown, let us know and we will consider it.

We may have goats available for meat this fall depending on our kidding rate.
